Origin
Panch Puran, literally meaning five spices in Bengali, is a mixture of Cumin, Brown Mustard, Fenugreek, Kalonji, and Fennel Seeds. It is believed to have originated in Bengal but is an integral part of Nort East Indian, Bangladeshi, Bhutanese, and Nepali cuisines too.
